Atelier Matte was developed as a floral packaging system built around a limited set of materials — paper, ribbon, and wrap formats — designed to work consistently across different environments.
The project focused on creating a dependable foundation that could be used repeatedly without reconsideration, reducing decision-making while maintaining a clear and consistent standard.
The system includes a focused set of components:
— Matte wrapping paper in a controlled palette
— Soft textile ribbon designed to tie cleanly and hold
— Simplified wrap formats that streamline preparation
Each element was selected for its ability to function independently while contributing to a cohesive whole.
The materials were designed to perform under real conditions — folding, tying, handling, and photographing — while maintaining consistency from batch to batch.
